Steuben Iridescent Gold Aurene Glass Vase

Unavailable
This lovely Steuben glass vase measures an impressive 8" high and 7" across and weighs 3 lbs. 8 oz. It has a tapered ovoid shape with rolled neck and a slightly flared rim. Signed "Steuben" on underside. Identical in shape but slightly shorter than the Steuben model 2683. Excellent condition, with no chips or cracks. A couple noticeable scratches as seen in our images. This work dates from as early as 1905 (when Frederick Carder first introduced aurene glass to compete with Tiffany favrile glass) and no later than the 1930s when aurene glass production ended.
