STERLING Top TALCUM Powder Dresser Jar -ANTIQUE-
Sterling top talcum power jar for a lady's vanity. The body is panels of cut glass. The top is sterling silver with an art nouveau design of poppies and irises around an escutcheon. No monogram. Brass inner cover for sprinkling.
MARKED: Top stamped Sterling with Webster maker's mark, as shown in photo.
Circa early 20th C
MEASURES: 2 inches diameter x 4 inches tall.
Very good overall condition appropriate to age and usage. There are one or two very minor dings in the lid and a tiny fleabite on the outside rim of the jar. No other chips, cracks or repairs found.
