Beautiful pair of antique neo-classical sterling silver antique salt cellars with cobalt glass liners. Each oval cellar has pierced openwork and is chased with swagged garlands and cartouches of the English Regency/ George IV period. They have legs with ball-and-claw feet.

Hallmarked on underside British Sterling, London, 1827, Duty paid. The only legible letter in the maker's mark in an H. Could possibly be Pratt & Humphrey.

Dated 1827

MEASURES: 3-1/2 x 2-1/4 x 2 inches high

Very Good overall condition. No cracks, breaks or repairs to the silver. No chips, cracks or repairs to cobalt liners. There is some wear to the silver from age and use and the legs are slightly bent as seen in photos.
