Delicate little spoon with scooped bowl and a crest of a curved necked bird between two flowers engraved on the finial. Hallmarked for Birmingham 1810, maker I.T probably Joseph Taylor. Spoon measures 92 mm long and the bowl is 25 mm long by 17 mm wide (3.5/8 inches long and 1 inch by 11/16 inch wide). Very good condition, there may have been a small repair at the join of the rear bowl to stem. Something is visible under magnification, but not easily seen otherwise. Weight is 3.65 grams.
