Stereo View Card - Beet Juice Evaporators

Unavailable
We recently acquired a large collection of stereoview cards from an elderly gentleman who had them stored away for many years. They are in unbelievably wonderful condition! These stereoview pictures are to be used in conjunction with a stereoscope viewer. They are real photographs mounted on durable cards. Most of these cards are done in sepia tones. The trademark Underwood & Underwood Sun Sculpture is highly desirable. We will be listing dozens of these cards over the next few weeks so be sure to continue checking our listings. These items would be a valuable addition to any collection. This stereoview card shows evaporators where purified beet-juice loses water by cooking and become syrup. This sugar beet factory is located in Menominee, Michigan. The men standing in front of these evaporators gives us an idea of how big these machines are. The back of this card contains information relating to geography, industries, political, social and economic history of this sugar-beet process. The picture on the right has some cardboard stuck to the top edge. The back of the card has a sliver of discoloration on the top edge (to the left). This card is in good used condition.
