Stereo View Card - Sugar Beet Diffusion

Unavailable
We recently acquired a large collection of stereoview cards from an elderly gentleman who had them stored away for many years. They are in unbelievably wonderful condition! These stereoview pictures are to be used in conjunction with a stereoscope viewer. They are real photographs mounted on durable cards. Most of these cards are done in sepia tones. The trademark Underwood & Underwood Sun Sculpture is highly desirable. We will be listing dozens of these cards over the next few weeks so be sure to continue checking our listings. These items would be a valuable addition to any collection. This stereoview card shows the diffusion-batteries where juice is extracted from sugar-beets in Menominee, Michigan. This process is one of the first through which the beets are put. The same process is also used with sugar cane. The back of the card contains more information relating to this entire process. The lower left corner on the front of the card is slightly bent. There is some slight discoloration at the top of the card on the back.
