Beautifully engraved certificate from the State of Louisiana New Consolidated $500 Bond issued in 1892. This historic document was printed by the American Banknote Company and has an ornate border around it with a vignette of a castle. This item is hand signed by the State Governor (Murphy James Foster) and the Secretary of State and is over 109 years old.
