I do use bubble wrap if requested,   2.00 charge , I pay 22.00 per 100 ft of bubble wrap and it pretty much comes to about 2.00 bucks per order. but it definitely protects the item the best.
I recomend insurance on items. please get insurance on breakable ,fragile,or anything over 10.oo to protect getting your money back.
