Starrett No. 64 Universal Test Indicator + Box

$55.00
Quantity available: 1

I've seen only a few of these over the years, and they still remain a sought after precision indicator! The indicator has been checked and verified to be in good working order, no wear noted, It is clearly marked "THE L.S. STARRETT CO. ATHOL MASS. U.S.A. No. 64" on the indicator. This model is design to attach to a surface gauge round rod, or even a lathe tool, as is basically has large, sturdy washer like, clamp jaws that squeeze the rod tightly and hold the indicator in place just fine. This is a very nice, hard to find model from the 1920's-50's era!  Also included in this offering is the original wooden box with matching label.
The wooden box is nicely made, very nice lap joints in the corners, some age darkening, but clean with a good label on one end.  No damage noted, other than a few small chips off the top corners at the mouth of the sliding cover.
