Stanley No. 65 Low Angle Block Plane Early 1900's

$155.00
Quantity available: 1

Offering nice nice clean older style type 2 Stanley No. 65 low angle (12 degrees cutter angle) block plane. This one has the "STANLEY SW" on the cutter (a few years newer than original). There is also a "STANLEY" raised lettering on the cutter depth adjustment wheel. I believe this to be an early type 2 as the cap cover is the pivot lock lever type, and the throat is adjustable on this one. The condition of this plane is good, clean bare metal surface, no cracks, a few tiny dings, about 90% length on the sharp cutter, and a good working cap cover and adjustable throat, all in sound condition. The Japanning is about 80% intact, not rusty, in very clean condition. An excellent example of a type 2 No. 65 block plane! This plane measures 7" long x 1 5/8 wide cutter.
