Stanley No. 3C Smooth Plane 1940's Era
This is a very clean Stanley No. 3C plane with the dark stained hardwood handles and the corrugated bottom. It has no cracks and the Japanning is about 70% intact with most of the worn off Japanning around the front knob. The handles are solid with some of the stain worn off, but not crack or chipped. The cap cover has about 80% of it's nickel plating intact, and is marked "Stanley" on it. The blade is sharp and has little sign of use, and is marked "STANLEY MADE IN U.S.A." on it. The blade is sharp and has plenty of stock left for future sharpening. The plane measure 9.2" long overall, and has a 1.75" wide cutter. Overall a very nice tool!
