Quantity available: 1
This is a good, clean, early vintage Stanley block plane dating back to the 1910 era. It is clean, rust free, with about 50% of it's original black Jappaning intact. This one is marked "STANLEY NEW BRITAIN CONN. U.S.A." in a V-shaped logo, on the cutter, and "STANLEY NO. 220" on the bed. The cutter adjustment slide is also marked with a patent date "PAT. 3.13.00". The front knob is hardwood with a clear finish on it, solid no cracks, very little wear. The cutter is sharp, nice clean iron, with lots of stock left for feature use. This block plane features the large thumb wheel with 5 holes for adjusting the cutter depth, works great! In good working order overall, no damage, a few minor scratches on the bottom noted. A very clean, 7" long bed x 1.62" cutter width smooth plane, ready to work condition!
