Stanley Fray Whimble Brace Rare!

This is a top quality double crank (Whimble style) brace marked "STANLEY SW CONN. U.S.A. FRAY NO. 12W". All these marks are on the long handle. Both handle and crank are cocobolo in good condition, the end crank handle has a hole in it with a pin inside (may have been plugged originally). The brace metal is clean, polished, with some darkening and minor staining on the long handle end, where the auger arm has more of the gun blueing finish on it. The chuck jaws, thumb screw and threads are in very good condition. A beautiful rare tool, by a well known maker!
