This is a vintage, hand made Staffordshire, England bone china paperweight, posy or ornament that is a hand made bouquet of flowers in a white bowl measuring 1.5 inches high by 3 inches in diameter. It is rare to find older pieces in such excellent condition! This Staffordshire Posy bowl was made in the 1950s by Golden Crown China of Staffordshire, England and imported by Ebeling & Reuss Company, PA, USA. The ornament or paperweight features a pink tipped carnation-type flower, a pale yellow rose and a blue flower with green leaves. We watched craftsman making these at the factory workrooms in Stoke On Trent and were amazed at the skill and time it took to make each part of these arrangements by hand from a lump of clay. Unfortunately the English potteries have all closed. Beautiful! This posy in in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or restorations.
