Staffordshire Crown Clarence dinner plate in the Byron pattern. Color is blue and sometimes looks green depending on the lighting...I guess you would call the color Teal. There is staining under the glaze on each and crazing from age and use which only adds to it's vintage charm. No chips or cracks. They are made of pottery, not porcelain. I have many more pieces in my store as well as a full set of service for four! This is a beautiful pattern and a must see in person. Very decorative as well as useful and would be beautiful all set up on your vintage Shabby Chic china hutch!
A piece of the makers history: The company that made the Crown Clarence line is JH Cope and Co. and went out of business in 1946. This company was in business for a short while from 1887-1946. They are also known for their Windsor and Balmoral names. Priced according to condition of staining under glaze, although there is a way to remove the stains. I have three left, price is for one, please indicate quantity when ordering. TWO LEFT!
