St George Temple St George Utah Postcard This is a nice color post card from the 20th century and it reads Greetings from St. George Utah. It pictures St George Temple. On the back it reads in part, Temple was built in the early 1870's with great effort and untold hardships by the early pioneers. Lava for the foundation stone was brought in from the hills to support the red sandstone walls and the timbers were hauled from Mt. Trumbull eighty miles to the South.
