This is a British royal commemorative spoon made by Wm. A. Rogers, USA for the visit to Canada in 1939 of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth of England, the parents of Queen Elizabeth II. The silver plated spoon measures 5.25 inches long and has profiles of King George V and Queen Elizabeth in a laurel wreath as the finial. The stem is a lovely herringbone pattern. The spoon is in excellent condition. A great historical and collectible piece of royal memorabilia.
