I don't often list anything that is cracked, but this is an exception. This unmarked bowl was undoubtedly produced by the Red Wing Pottery Co. The advertising inside it reads "Mix with Magee's and Save Dough." 1940. This was a small family owned grocery store in Central Mn. It was demolished just a few years ago. The bowl is great spongeware and measures 6.25 in. diam. and is 3.25 in. tall. The crack is approx. 3-3.5 in. long on the inside. This will display well, and is a bit of nostalgia from the past. This type of bowl was often given to customers at Holiday time.
