Beautiful antique spongeware or sponge ware teapot. Nice shape and very attractive finish of brown and green.
No markings on bottom, as shown.
Circa late 19th C to early 20th C.
MEASURES: 7 1/2 inches spout-to-handle, 5 inches overall height.
Very good condition. No dings, cracks or other damage to pot. There is a manufacturer's flaw on the lid (shown) and a chip on its inner rim as shown in photo.
