Spectacular and very rare Moser opaque white cut to transparent forest green glass vase. The execution of detail is astounding... The vase has 6 vertical elongated leaf shape segments, the perimeter of the vase around the sections on the top and the base is cut to a beautiful forest green glass, which is hand decorated with a very fine foliage decor in gold. Three sections on the upper part have very fine geometrical diamond shape sharp to touch cut work (opaque white cut to green), other three segments have hand painted floral decor. 3 of the lower sections are also hand painted with the floral decor over white, other three sections are hand decorated in ornamental gold pattern. The rim of deeply cut top in intricate design has also gold gilt. Vase is made from two pieces connected with a metal part thru upper and lower inside. The vase survived its 140+ years of age in good condition, no chips, some wear of gold. Dimension : just short of 12 inches in height, 4 1/4" base diameter.
