This 19th c. Spanish Colonial Santos was brought to the United States by a Venezuela family. It appears to be St. George standing on what could be assumed to be a dragons paw. Obviously because of its age and travels around, it is not in perfect condition. St. George was probably holding a spear and there is some overall paint wear, but it could be said to lend to its unquestionable age and it is typical condition of older Santos. It stands 18 1/2" h. with a 4" base. It does have a wonderful authentic look.
