South Bend Bread Company Strenght from bread. These little pictures are from a series of 50, this being the 1st that you took your little paint brush and water and watercolored the little print (pre inked). This is from 1921. It states that if you loose the little paint brush with this first card your wagon slaesman will give you another. They came in the bread, Milk Maid, Twin loaf and Betsy Ross. This appears to have been painted, you can see the pink and greenish color. It shows a little boy showing his muscles as his boxing gloves hang in the back. It has a pin hole at the top (not in picture) from hanging on a bulletin board and a little stain from water in the upper left (not in picture but is on both sides), These are very hard to find.
