Lovely marquetry inlaid wood music box, with Reuge Swiss musical movement, playing The Sound of Music. This highly polished and well-crafted box sits on 4 rounded wooden feet. It measures about 2 1/8 inches high, 5 1/4 inches wide, and 4 1/2 inches deep. Inside, it has a removeable cover for the musical movement. And, of course, it has the wonderful sound that Reuge is famous for. The music box is in very good condition, with a small area of roughness on the front side of the lid, and light surface wear.
