This is an incredible solid mahogany Chippenale mule chest. It has a five drawer configuration with the top two drawers being false. The pulls are replaced but the ogee bracket feet are original. Notice the magnificent ivory keyhole escutcheon and the beautiful and extremely rare scalloped apron. The reeding on the stiles is a great detail. The secondary is deal. Additional photos of the interior and exterior are available. Please note that the first picture is the best for real life color. It has an old finish, which could possibly be original. This is one of the prettiest mule chests I have seen.
