Elegant pair of hand-made, solid brass andirons with large urn finials, on turned supports to a square base, on ball and claw fee. They are hallmarked CRAY, a manufacturer of fine, solid brass, Colonial style fireplace fittings active in Boston in the 1940's. Andirons are hand-turned, hand-filled, hand-polished, are made of separate pieces and can be taken apart. In very good used condition, may need polishing. Shipped fully insured with tracking number. Measurements. Each andiron is 17" tall by 8" deep by 11.25" wide (feet) approximately.
