This is a collection of stories for boys. It says "in the air and on the sea". It was edited by Franklin K. Mathiews, Chief Scout Librarian of the Boy Scouts of America. The front inside cover states: Published with the approval of the Boy Scouts of America. The second story is Lindberg'h and the Boy Scouts. Included with the story on page 17 is a letter from Charles A. Linbergh to the Boy Scouts of America. It urges scouts "to make an intensive study of Merit Badge aviation" and says "You scouts of today are the flyers of tomorrow". The pages are all intact with no tears or markings. The hardcover is in excellent condition. The dust jacket has seen some wear. There are tears on the front and spine with a large section (2x5") that is missing from the back of the dust jacket. The illustration on the dust jacket cover is by Harold N. Anderson '28. There is a price sticker on the inside of the dust jacket for $1.00 from Boston Store, Milwaukee.
