This wonderful sterling silver dinner fork was made by S. Kirk & Son. It is hammered repousse silver flatware aptly named Repousse. S Kirk started in 1915 and introduced this pattern in 1928. Repousse is still being made today. From a matched set that was purchased around the 1920s. This means that the silver is heavier and the details more distinct, that more handwork went into the manufacture of these lovely heirloom pieces. The dinner fork is 7 7/8" long and in excellent condition.
