Offering this handsome old book The Poetical Works of Sir Walter Scott; published by Thomas Crowell New York, no publish date, but has a gift inscription on front blank page dated 1889, book is definitely that age or older. Green cloth hardboards, very intricate leaf design on front and back, gold lettering on spine. Good condition, no stains or spine cracks; a very tiny bit of wear on corner points and spine edges. Pages have gold gilt on all three sides, all pages are very clean and tight, no tears, stains,or scribbles. As stated above, there is a gift inscription written on front blank page. Printed in the old double column style per page. Beautiful engravings throughout.
