"Safe!". Early Sir Edwin Landseer print of an engraving of two dogs, one is a setter and the other is a smooth terrier. Sir Edwin Landseer, R.A., Pinxt, Chas G. Lewis, Sculpt. Copyright J. S. Virtue & Co., London. No date, probably late 19th century. The print measures 10.25" x 14" and there is plenty of border to make the print suitable for matting and framing. Sir Edwin Landseer was a British painter and sculptor best known for his paintings of animals. Margins are toned, top edge is somewhat rough, and these is a light stain across the bottom third of the print. In Good Plus condition.
