SILVER COW CREAMER / 7" LONG STERLING SILVER 1880-1920 GERMAN

$1,850.00
Quantity available: 1

This large and heavy sterling silver cow creamer was made in Germany anywhere between 1880 and 1920. Stamped 925 on its tail with the national hallmark of crescent moon and crown and a mark which looks like a bunch of grapes, the cow has a great form, a pleasing expression and an unusual raised fly on the lid on her back. Weighing 11.09 troy ounces and measuring 7 inches long from nose to tail, 4-3/4 inches high at the top of her horn and 1-5/8 inches across the chest, this beautifully crafted beast has a lot of heft. Fine condition.
