This is a wonderful pair of cufflinks made from silver Austrian "1 Corona" coins with sterling toggle backs. The coins have a diameter of 7/8" and the cufflinks are in excellent condition. The man's bust portrait on the front is Austria's Ruler (from 1848 - 1916) Franz Joseph I. The coins are signed "St. Schwartz" and were designed by Austrian artist Stefan Schwartz. The coins are dated 1916 and the cufflinks are in excellent condition. They are not marked, but test silver.
