The Treasure Galleon Atocha tragically ended her voyage on a reef off the Florida Keys on September 6, 1622 and scattered over 47 troy tons of treasure over 50 miles of ocean bottom. This Atocha treasure is made from the silver bars that were part of the Atocha Cargo. The Atocha silver in this charm is more pure than sterling silver and has very interesting markings typical of those used by the king in his crusades.
