A pair of sterling silver clip-back earrings in the shape of angelfish. Handmade, 1 1/4 inches in diameter. Signed, MIADA HEATTER, the famous cookbook author and daughter of Gabriel Heater, radio commentator of the 1940s and 50s. She made silver jewelry in the 1950s, first she made silver rings, then more silver jewelry, for Macys. She is considered one of the important creators of modernist silver jewelry. After she married, she stopped designing jewelry and started to bake for a restaurant she and her husband opened in the Miami area.
