Hand-crafted and signed oval wicker Kentucky egg basket. This charming basket is signed on the bottom with stylized initials (PSP?) and the year 1990. It has a wooden tag in the shape of a camel attached with a blue ribbon. On one side of the tag is "Kentucky Egg Basket"; on the other is the name of the couple to whom the basket was presented and the names of the family who presented it. The basket measures approximately 13 inches high, including the twisted handle. The basket base is oval-shaped and measures about 11 inches by 12 inches. It is deeper around the outside where the eggs go so that eggs can be carried in it without rolling around. The basket is in very good condition, intact, with minimal wear.
