Shop By Mail Open Road Ad 1934 This is a December 1934 advertisements. This is a nice black and white ad from Open Road Pioneers Club of Boston. Two ads from the same company. One ad is for a Featherweight tent. Complete with 2 poles, 8 stakes and carrying bag. The other for a genuine leather belt that you assemble yourself. Has nickel silver studs and silver lacing along the edge. Also this page has a very nice poem titled Merry Christmas Old Timer by Coteau Gene Stebbings. This ad gives you a general idea what was a timely or popular gift for that era. In excellent condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This original tear sheet measures 5 1/2 inches wide by 5 3/4 inches tall each.
