This ship's clock is housed in its original black Bakelite case. The brass face reads U.S. Maritime Commission with the number 17332 stamped below. There is a barely legible label below indicating another company in Portland Oregon, which we can decipher. The face, works and hands are all original. The clock is in excellent running condition. There is another interesting feature scratched into the case on the back, which reads: Yokohama, Hisashi Ozawa, Japan. We are unsure of its significance but further searching could result in an interesting story.
