What a wonderful antique teapot made by Shibakawa & Co. LTD back in the 1920s. It is shaped like a cottage with hand painted detail, and I mean stunning detail with the leaves running up the side of the spout and the pink and blue flowers around the little windows. It is in excellent condition, even the little lock is still on the lid with NO chips or crack. It is rare to find these with the spout undamaged. It stands 5 1/5 tall by 7 5/8 long and holds 2 3/4" cups. Marked Made in Japan with SS in a diamond denoting the Shibakawa makers mark of 1920. Free shipping.
