This is a Shelley China, England bone china open salt or salt dip in a Crested China style made 1912-1925. The reeded side small bowl measures 1 inch high by 3 inches in diameter and has the high relief hand painted on transfer crest of the Fitzwilliams Family In Mablethorpe Church. Mablethorpe is an eastern English seaside resort and the dish was made for W. Dale, Lindum House, Mablethorpe. The small crested ware bowl or open salt is in excellent condition and a wonderful piece for Shelley collectors or collectors of Crested ware china souvenir ware.
