Sevres Gilt-Bronze Covered Vase 19th Century Porcelain

Gilt-Bronze Mounted Covered Vase, artist signed, hand painted with a continuous frieze depicting a Colonial Couple in a Garden, fashionably dressed, decorated in soft pastel colors on a creamy ground, with billowing clouds scattered on the soft blue horizon. Borders are periwinkle blue and rose scrolls with floral. Back of vessel is scenic estate with garden and trees having a Castle in distance. Applied Gilt-Bronze handles of Devilish Sculpt Face. PERFECT condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. Incised numbers found in the pedestal base, in script 2197-15. There appears to be the letters “ oz” or “ 03” found also. Mid to late 19th Century.
