Dating from around 1850 this Sevres style Lowenstoff vase was made by Samson the Imitator in the Chinese style. A false Chinese mark is marked to the base. This covered vase/urn is most imposing, and it is quite large. The gilding and porcelain is not really worn, and the general condition is excellent. There is one minor fault though: there is a minute stress mark in the neck which is hardly visible.
