This is a great little plastic, ?lucite/?thermoset, insert set. They are typical of the late 1950's, with little enameled white flowers with aurora borealis rhinestone centers. The inserts on this set are different from a lot of those I've seen, including the other set I just listed on this site, S_4237. The other set has solid color insets, where this set appears to be clear with a painted back or painted setting. The color is a light tan. Both the necklace and the ear clips are marked BSK with a copyright "C" in circle. As with most all BSK found, there is loss to the finish on the back, but not as bad as is usualy found. There is age wear to the enamel, but nothing out of line with age of the piece. The necklace is approx. 13" to 16" Long and 1/2" wide. The earrings are approx. 1"X1".
