This is a Set of Three Long Real Photos of Pepps Pool Business District and Rockefeller Drive Daytona Beach, Florida. There are three photos the first of which is the photo of Rockefeller Drive Near Daytona Beach, Florida Rockefeller owned a winter home in Palm Beach Florida and The Casements in Ormond Beach Florida but also had streets in his name in other Florida cities. He died in The Casements at the age of 97, he had been retired for 40 years. The second photo is a Section of Business District, Daytona Beach Fla..There is a picture of the Halifax Pharmacy, and lots of old cars, police directing traffic (no stoplights here) and people relaxing and playing horse shoes. Many, many interesting things in this photo. The third photo is of the Pepps Pool, Daytona Beach, Florida. This pool was built by Harry Pepper and was closed during the Great Depression. You can barely see the McMillan Wright Fishing Pier with Roof Garden on the left of the photo. This is all located in Halifax County. Also in the photo you can see there is no one in the pool. That is because if you look real close you can see that several men in straw hats are pulling out a young girl that might have gotten in trouble in the pool. Everyone's attention is focused on that. Also notice the 20's style hats, clothes and bathing suits. The boys are in full suits similar to the girls. These photo strips are in good vintage condition and measure 3 5/8" by 10 1/2". These photos a good snapshot of history.
