Here is a hard to find matching set of 8 Hitchcock style dining chairs. The set includes 2 armchairs and 6 side chairs. The armchairs measure 34.5” tall, 20” wide and 17” deep. The side chairs measure 34.5” tall, 17” wide and 17” deep. These chairs are in amazing condition. They retain their original ebonized and gold highlighted and stenciled finish. Each chair has a pillow back with a hand painted design on the top rail. The back splat has a stenciled design of a fruit and flower filled urn in various subtle shades of gold. Additional stenciled designs are along the front of the chair stiles. Notice the extremely graceful and curvaceous arms on the two main chairs. They retain their original rush bottom seats which are all in excellent condition. All the chairs are tight having no breaks or repairs. What a great set that would go well with a variety of table styles.
