Set of 8 Formal 19th Century Ornately Carved Oak Dining Room Chairs

Set of 8 Ornately Carved Dining Chairs, circa 1895 in good original finish, not perfect, but good, the wood is dark Oak, could work well with walnut or oak furniture either one. I say the finish is not perfect because the chairs do have roughness and scratches primarily on back of the legs, also on the "knees" of the chairs and there is an occasional "splotch" refer to photos, however these areas have been touched up and are not unduly noticeable. The wood has been thoroughly cleaned on all the chairs. I am limited to only 12 photos so can easily send more pictures if required. One of the chairs appears to have had both of the back legs repaired, or could be a factory repair, I do not know, again refer to photos, but at any rate it was a professional job. The chair bottoms have coil springs, they have all been reupholstered fairly recently, they are all clean with no rips or tears anywhere, they came from smoke free home,. The fabric is of good quality, primary colors of red and blue with hints of gold on gray and off white background., truly an appropriate fabric for these chairs, and will blend with a lot of varying color schemes. There are two ARM CHAIRS, they measure 25" w. x 23" d. x 44-1/2" h. Total of 6 SIDE CHAIRS, they measure 20" w. x 19" d. x 42" h. This is the FINEST SET of CHAIRS I have had the pleasure to own in a long time... We are currently restoring a 60" round HORNER WINGED GRIFFIN dining table. that would be perfect to go with these chairs, keep watching my listings, it will be added soon.
