Here is a hard find set of 10 solid mahogany Chippendale style dining chairs. The chairs have a lovely carved crest rail and a pierced carved urn shaped center splat. The chairs retain their original rush woven seats. The serpentine shaped legs end in boldly carved ball and claw feet. Due to the extensive stretcher system between the legs, the chairs are extremely tight and sturdy. They retain their original finish which is in excellent condition having a deep, rich color and patina. We currently have several tables which would greatly compliment these handsome chairs. The great thing about these chairs is due to their styling and use of rush seats, they would work well with either formal or country style furnishings.
