- Quantity Available: 1
One of the largest cabinet clocks produced by Sessions at the beginning of the Art Deco era. An absolutely stunning Sessions Mantle Clock in Mahogany and it is the most beautiful grain I have ever seen on a mahogany cabinet clock. Lincoln Drapes Design, and extremely rare with carvings and bracket feet. Movement has been professionaly sonic cleaned and serviced and keeps accurate time. Gongs on 1/2 and the hour. 8-day movement. Silvered dial is very good considering its age of nearly 100 years. Convex glass is original, Key and Pendulum appear to be original. Hinge and Bezel are nice and tight and operate exactly as they should. Slow fast adjustment at 12 O'clock position. Rear door has the original cloth covered brass plate to accomdate the sound of the gong. Rear cabinet door knob may or may not be replacement.
The finish of the cabinet is untouched and original with the patina of age that only 100 years can bring. This is a particularly nice clock - the movement is clean as a whistle. Very rare cabinet style and design.
Sales to the lower 48 only. Plenty of more pix and questions promptly answered. WE ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS AND ITEM IS SHIPPED IMMEDIATELY UPON CLEARED PAYMENT.
