For Sale is a very nice Cup and Saucer made by "The Saturday Evening Girls" Pottery Company" of Boston, Mass. The Cup and Saucer together stand 2 1/8" tall. The Saucer has a diameter of 5 1/2" and it stands 7/8" tall.
The Cup and Saucer display a very deep and rich Country Blue Glaze with black speckling throughout. The Glaze is a Semi-Gloss Glaze and it is clearly a SEG original Glaze. The Glaze color on both pieces is uniform throughout.
The Cup and Saucer are considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks, nicks, chips or dings. There is a small pin pop on the inside saucer. It can only be seen at an angle when held to the light. This cannot be seen when displayed as the Cup hides it. The Cup and Saucer are both signed "S.E.G 6-20" along with the Artist initials "EG" in fired black ink on the bottom of each piece. The Cup signature is much harder to read though.
This means the Cup and saucer were made in June of 1920 by the Artist "Eva Geneco".
