Sears Cottage Ware small size Canister is crème color with an embossed painted cottage scene. The picture on this canister protrudes to give it a three dimensional look and the lid looks like a straw roof with the knob resembling a steeple. This scene shows part of a cottage nestled among the trees and an an outbuilding with a fence. Also shows a horse and cart riding along in front of the cottage. The bottom edge shows two rows of brick and you can see spots of underlying brick around the canister as well. The backstamp in black reads Sears Roebuck and Co. 1981 Made in Japan. This canister is 3 1/2" in diameter and is 6 1/2" high with the lid on. There is a 10.00 price reduction due to slight imperfections. reduction due to slight imperfections.
