This is a very old wool Sea Scouting top, it is in very good condition. The v-shaped collar has two stripes around it and the back of the color is square and at the end of the sleeves the buttons have the anchors on them. There is an anchors on the front pocket and the words “BE PREPARED” which is a Boy Scout motto. On the inside label it has Manufactured by NAVAL CLOTHING FACTORY, it belonged to S.W. Mathews. Plat. 80188. It is in great condition, great collector. It is 16 ¼” across the back between the shoulders, the shoulder seam to the end of the cuff is 25 3/4” and the neck to the waist in the back is 23” and it weighs 2 lbs. Here is a little information about Sea Scouts, BSA. Sea Scouting is a coed outdoor program for young adults 14 - 20 years old and their adult advisors.

Unfortunately, we are only able to ship to the USA, it is getting very hard to ship to Canada.

We take great care in packing so you will receive your item in the same condition it was in when it left our store. Our policy is included with each individual item that we list. Payment is expected with 7 days. If for some reason the buyer does not complete the transaction, we do send Second Chance Offers. Failure to pay within seven days does give us the right to relist the item(s). Smaller items can be returned, with the buyer paying the shipping both ways. The larger items must be returned in the original packing and arrive in the same condition as when it left our store, with the buyer paying the shipping both ways. We strive to make the customer happy and we will work with you on an individual basis. If for some reason the item(s) is damaged in the shipping, it is the customer's responsibility to file a claim with the shipping company. We will help in any way we can if damage does occur.
