Acanthus Antiques has a strong collection which is ever changing and growing. We emphasize 18th century and early 19th century period antiques, including American, English and Continental furniture. Federal and Georgian periods are always present in our inventory as well as Italian, French, and German examples.
Additionally, we maintain a large selection of Fine Arts from the 17th through the 20th Centuries. Paintings, Bronzes, Watercolors & Drawings may always be found on our web site and in our gallery in Kensington.
Our collection has a wide and varied range of decorative arts, including, Sterling Silver, Art Glass, Antique Glass, Porcelain and Asian Art and Antiques. The Victorian, Art Deco, Art Nouveau, Arts and Crafts, Periods are always well represented.
We feature a strong Estate Jewelry collection, with pieces dating as early as the Georgian period, with a particularly strong emphasis on fine Victorian jewelry. Signed Mexican, Scandinavian, Georg Jensen, Tiffany, and other important designer pieces are maintained in inventory at all times.

Personal checks must have bank clearance prior to shipment unless we have had prior business dealings. Please include item # on checks. All payment must be made in US Dollars. Maryland residents must pay 5% sales tax.

SHIPPING
POLICY
Credit Card or Paypal is strongly preferred. Items paid for this way will ship within 48 hours. Bank or Cashier's checks also accepted but will be held for 5 business days if dollar amount exceeds $500 (as per my banks instructions). Buyer pays actual shipping, packaging and insurance. There is a minimum $10 shipping fee for all items, regardless of size. We use UPS for domestic shipments and require a Non P.O. Box address. All items are shipped fully insured. We ship USPS for International transactions. We ship USPS Internationally once a week. Email for pricing of international ments. Due to the increased cost of packing supplies and UPS surcharges, Minimum shipping charge is $10.00.

RETURNS
POLICY
We guarantee all items to be as described. If property purchased is materially different than as represented on this site, the buyer shall have the right within three business days of receiving the Property to rescind the transaction by so notifying the seller and by returning the Property to the seller, in the same condition as when received by the buyer.
